Raising the flag

We needed to photograph the fab new Union Jack bunting for the website so used it as an excuse to have a picnic. We all bundled into cars and took the camper van down to a local stream and then ate all the props - chocolate cake and pink lemonade!

Fab new tissue!

We have finally put the new tissue on the website and doesn't it look fab? Instead of just two different prints for both boys and girls, we now offer three and what lovely prints too. For boys we now have gingham, skulls and combat prints and for girls we have gingham, spots and stripes. We have two new colours of tags too - pink for the girls and black for the boys.

More beautiful fabric party bags

After a very busy summer – so no new entries I'm afraid – I've finally been able to dedicate some time to buying some new stock. We have some great new items which have already made it in our boys' bags, with some new girls' bags to come very soon. We have a cute little flower press –perfect for taking on country walks; cat's cradle string (remember that?); and fortune-telling fish for the girls. And for the boys: wooden knights; wind-up airplanes; and pirate tattoos. We also have sourced two beautiful new fabrics – an ice-cream sundae fabric for the girls and a cowboy print for the boys. Both are by Michael Miller, imported from the States, and they are divine - they compliment the other fabrics in our range of fabric bags perfectly.

Party Bunting

Look at our lovely new bunting. Just finished our second fair and we're selling loads of our happy birthday bunting.
I thought it would be nice to sell some that you can put up at any time of the year - not just birthdays - so now we have these two lovely designs. They look so pretty - and they can be used over and over again.

We're on the road

Last weekend The Little Things had a stall at the local village fayre and we had a great time. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we've decided to do it again. Our pocket money toys were a big hit with both adults and children alike. Also popular were our lovely lanterns - we sold out! So, if you're passing through Worthing at the weekend you may see us at the Durrington village fete - come and say hello. Keep your fingers crossed for sun!

Cheese and wine

This weekend we went on our favourite walk through the bluebells to the organic vineyard - a bottle of wine and some camembert under the tree and then home. Unfortunately though they've ploughed the field - as you can see there was just a little patch of grass left to sit on!

Vintage Vacations

This time last week we were on our way to the Isle of Wight for the start of our fab weekend in an Airstream. Actually it was a present for my 40th birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect - I may not be as old as the trailer (although she has probably aged better) but it was certainly a trip down memory lane (we even played Coppit - remember that?). The weekend was booked through Vintage Vacations - a great company with five trailers (and more to come) on a small farm near Newport - I would have happily moved in. Babycham and cream scones when you arrive, fresh flowers in the bathroom, girly annuals, vintage games, retro music - camping has never been this chic! I'm smitten!

Have a look at the website, they also sell some lovely vintage-inspired nick nacks - www.vintagevacations.co.uk
